New compositions, new talks

Over the past months the project to set seven verses of the Bhagavad Gita to music has progressed to the completion of the first three movements – each complete in itself, but intended to form part of a six-movement sequence. Another short song was also commissioned in October: Nothing but the Knower is intended as a quiet preparation for meditation or reflection. It has already been used on a recent quiet retreat.

Rosemary is also preparing new talks for bookings in May and October 2017 and in January 2018. She is currently exploring a variety of themes for these, including Can music be English? and an interactive session on How do we listen? Another topic, Brave new world?, investigates the revolution in musical styles which emerged during and after the First World War.
