Writing and teaching


Rosemary has written articles for periodicals including the Times Educational Supplement and Church Music Quarterly. She has regularly contributed reviews of choral music for the Royal School of Church Music and the Association of British Choral Directors. Support materials for A level teachers and students have included analyses of set works, advice on preparing recitals, and training in advanced harmonic language. She has produced worksheets on free composition and on the completion of Bach chorales and classical string quartets.

Rosemary has occasional vacancies for individual pupils in advanced music theory and composition. She has many years of experience in preparing students to read Music at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
